[작품설명]
Foundation 시리즈는 크기가 다른 각각의 구워진 도자 판을 하나의 추상화된 화면으로 이어 붙여, 그 틈 사이를 인공이끼로 채운 작업이다. 여기서 이끼는 단순히 도자 사이를 채우는 것을 넘어 심리적, 물리적인 것들을 연결하고 이어주는 숲이라는 개념에 가깝다. 이 작업에는 기존의 세라믹 작업에서 보여졌던 상감-사진의 디자인적 요소가 같이 더해져 흙이라는 매체가 가진 특성을 주목하였다. 

[Work Description]
Foundation is a series of works composed of ceramic panels of varying sizes, each individually fired and assembled into a single, abstract surface. The gaps between the panels are filled with artificial moss, which goes beyond merely serving as a filler—it functions more like a forest, metaphorically bridging the psychological and physical dimensions of the work. This piece also incorporates the inlay-photo design elements seen in previous ceramic works, drawing attention to the inherent qualities of clay as a medium.
