[작품설명]
이 작업은 최근 흙 작업을 하면서 생긴 느린 호흡에서 파생된 드로잉 작업이다.  즉흥적인 그림의 빠른 호흡에 비해 흙 작업의 느린 호흡 사이를 채운 작업이라 느꼈다. 콜라주 작업에서 수용되었던 종이의 적극적인 외곽의 변주는 이 드로잉에서 복합적인 공간감으로 변화했다. 균질화된 화면의 종이 한 장 (공간의 한 면)이 드로잉에서 공간의 한 면이 되었다. 색상을 배제함에 따라 명암의 구조가 생겼고, 숲과 나무라는 심상은 재현된 모습과 아닌 모습의 형태로 그림에서 배치된다. 
 
[Work Description]
This work is derived from the slow rhythm of recent clay work and is reflected in the drawing. Compared to the rapid rhythm of spontaneous drawing, this piece fills the gap between the slow rhythm of clay work. The active contour variations of paper in the collage work have transformed into a complex spatial sense in the drawing. A single sheet of homogenized paper (a plane of space) has become one side of the space in the drawing. By excluding color, the structure of light and shadow emerged, and the imagery of forests and trees is arranged in the drawing in forms that are both representational and non-representational.
